Udupi, Nov 18: The three-day around the clock protest that was being held right here by Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV) and Yuvashakti Karnataka in pursuance of their demand to launch wage and allowances of the workers manning the dialysis centre right here, met its logical finish on Wednesday November 18 morning.
District surgeon Dr Madhusudan Rao, met the protestors and held discussions. He appealed to them to withdraw their protest. He knowledgeable that the federal government has already credited a sum of Rs 13 lac to the account right here for disbursing wage of staff and likewise to amass objects wanted. He stated that by utilizing these funds, salaries can be paid to staff involved quickly.
KRV Udupi district president, Ansar Ahmed, famous that their three day unbroken protest has succeeded and the federal government has launched funds for the wage and different objects wanted for all of the dialysis centres within the state. He introduced that the protest was being withdrawn forthwith.
KRV was holding the stated day and night time protest searching for disbursement of salaries of the staff working in 123 dialysis centres within the state and to set proper different points related with them.
