Secunderabad (Telangana) [India], June 18 (ANI): To commemorate the celebrations of 75th Independence Day, the Bison Division of Military organised an Organ Donation Pledging Camp and Blood Donation Camp at Secunderabad Army Garrison on Thursday.
As per the Ministry of Defence, a complete of 750 troopers of the Bison Division have pledged to donate their organs to needy folks as a present of life.
The organ donation initiative within the Armed Forces is coordinated by the Armed Forces Organ Retrieval and Transplantation Authority and the conversion price of organ donation within the Military is amongst the best within the nation.
A Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with IRCS was additionally held at Secunderabad Army Garrison whereby a complete of 75 items of blood have been collected by the medical workforce.
“The battle-hardened enthusiastic troopers of the Bison Division joined fingers collectively for this noble trigger and the camp is a sworn statement of help to Indian Crimson Cross Society within the hours of disaster resulting from COVID-19 pandemic.
