Robert “Bob” Dean Adam of Fairfield, handed away on November 19, 2022, at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines surrounded by his household.
Bob was born in Washington, IA on June 10, 1951, to Elmer and Harriet Greiner Adam. He graduated from Fairfield Excessive College in 1969 and accomplished the Farm Mechanic Technical Program at Indian Hills Group School.
He married Kriste Hunter in 1977; they later divorced. He married Nan Linn in 1991; they later divorced.
A lifelong resident of Jefferson County, he farmed till retiring in 2000. Nonetheless a steward and lover of the land and all that grew on it, Bob spent his retirement gardening, searching, fishing, and sustaining his garden and plenty of others in the neighborhood. He regarded ahead to scrumptious Sunday dinners ready by Chris and Jody Kessel. Throughout baseball season, nobody dared root for any workforce however the Cardinals in his presence.
He’s survived by his siblings, Dennis (Andra) Adam, Bonnie (Mike) Kessel, Charles Adam, Joe (JoAnn) Adam, all of Fairfield, and Janice (Mike) McDonough of Ottumwa; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Awaiting him in eternity are his dad and mom, brother James Adam, toddler nephew James Adam, and his beloved canine, Nae Nae.

Mass with Christian Burial will likely be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Nick Adam officiating. Inurnment will likely be held at a later date.
