INTRODUCTION: The info of immunosuppressive remedy administration on stable organ transplant recipients with coronavirus illness 2019 are inadequate. We report a kidney transplant recipient who developed coronavirus illness 2019 pneumonia, with profitable administration of low-dose mPSL.
CASE PRESENTATION: A 36-year-old man, who underwent residing kidney transplantation 1.5 12 months prior, developed fever. After 10 days, he developed dyspnea, and his blood oxygen ranges decreased. Computed tomography confirmed pulmonary ground-glass shadow on each lungs, and the coronavirus illness 2019 real-time polymerase chain response check was optimistic. CONCLUSION: Low-dose methylprednisolone could stop the event of extreme coronavirus illness 2019.
