So I had the nice alternative to partake as an hooked up photographer a seashore assault with the 29th Infantry Division Residing Historical past group throughout the D-Day Ohio …

People Turn Online To Find Organ Matches
For someone in need of a kidney transplant, the wait time for a compatible organ could last anywhere from five...
I'v been doing conny on and off from the first one. I was there for that one as well. One of the bazooka teams. Seems every body's got one now days.
I SEEN THAT GUY TALKING ON A NOTHER VIDEO
forget trying to get 20 guys to work together. sarg: JUST TAKE THOSE GD BUNKERS AND DON'T DIE I DON'T CARE HOW YOU DO IT JUST GET THE GD BUNKERS!
If you want to portray WXX, at Rockford Illinois, contact me, I can set you up with a Mauser and Field Gear.Must Shave, Have your own uniform and Boots. Und ich Spreche Deutsch auch.
Do they actually die?
What I love about reenacting as well, is that you can teach about so much that people don't know about. My interest is and will always be that of the US Marine Corps for example. I want to do USMC ww2 reenactment, I even have most of the stuff needed, but the problem is that here in Europe for example, there aren't really a lot of groups doing that kind of reenactment. I would love to go to an event, with a unit and talk to the many visitors about the war in the pacific. A lot of people in Western Europe probably won't know a lot about it. that is the great attribute of living history, being able to make those stories come to life.
If I'm ever going to do a German reenactment, the Deutches Afrika Korps is what I would go with, because it is just a lot more unknown to people here.
Reenactors are a Nothing But a Bunch of Pathetic "Wannabees" They're an INSULT to the Memories of the REAL MEN that the Wars Their Playing "Soldier" It's for these Morons to GROW UP and ACT LIKE MEN!
Ich war dort
Reproduction vehicles? Which ones were reproductions?
Because if you're telling me somebody out there can make me a reproduction Easy Eight I'd consider kissing you.
I do American revolution reenacting
"Guy who looks like Oddball" – yeah, now you mention it…
I’m always amazed at what the uniforms, equipment and vehicles actually look like in high definition and colour, I’m so used to seeing it in black and white
Its funny to see this become an international event. I grew up in northeast ohio and thought these were all just local north ohio dorks.
What the hell? I live in Ohio and I did not know about this!? Where in Ohio is this? I hope you enjoyed it here.
When the vet said thank you i would have said no thank you sir and salut him.
Got back to Ohio too late to catch the event but I was able to view a Higgens boat close up. It was pretty cool. From what I understand almost all of the vehicles are privately owned so the maintenance of this stuff can get pretty expensive and in some cases can be an around the year task. Glad you enjoyed Conneaut.
1:23 what variant of the sherman is that in the center? I can never find it anywhere.
I was there it was awesome it’s my fith year of going
Really glad that guy shaved his beard for the reenactment so he didn't look like a jackass…
I do reenacting and it's quite rewarding to be with people with a similar passion towards history and preserving the legacy of those that come before.
Remember, we call d-day Ohio a farb-fest. It has a lot of mega farbs, but it also has a lot of great guys and gals
Hey I was there, didn't one of the landing craft get stuck before the Battle and they had to push/or pull the thing back into the water?
0:46 I noticed you while standing in formation that morning. I'm still tired from that event
Calling The Chieftian a moron seemed more than a bit harsh.
You're wrong about a lot of stuff. Shocked you are still surprised by it.
3:50 Infantry somehow forgets that he’s an American today haha
I do two types, western frontier Cr 1820-30 and French and Indian war period Cr 1750.
In both cases a civilian living on the frontier, or at my highest a merchant on the Santa Fe trail.
It’s not as complex as military and even war of 1812 events I have attended as a civilian fleeing Indian threat to a fort is less complex then a WW2 event.
Yes it’s dress up, but we do try to get all the details right. Great events make up our history books, but history was life, families cooking at a fire place, friends sharing a mug in an inn or a flak by a camp fire.
I recognize the wing of Whiskey Seven, the ailerons are covered with canvas. She’s a good plane, lead plane of the second wave during the Normandy invasion,
3:50 the guy goes to reach for a bolt then stops when he realized he has an m1 lol
